Backstory
Hey there ~ thank you for checking out how Grateful Vibes Only came to be! Here it goes…
Have you ever wondered why certain people are in your life? Why do we meet the people that we meet? Is it all random? Luck of the draw? Perhaps it is not by accident at all. We believe that everyone you meet is sent to you for a reason. Those reasons will surface with time and they are driven by the energy we give and the vibes that we feel.
So how did GVO happen? Well it was back in 2016, two gals Dajana Damjanovich ( that’s me ) and Kate Brough separately set our intentions. We both signed up to sell our wares at the May Fair in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church located in our hometown of Oxford, CT. Our tables were set side by side. Both of us…not being shy chatted up a storm and laughed. In fact, we had more laughs than we had sales. We were so cool with that because we were grateful for the fun we had and for the folks that came out to be a part of the community event. Over time Kate and I discovered that we both share many common values and philosophies. We both agree that self-love is important and that evolving to be better versions of ourselves is paramount. Like many of you, we believe in living with gratitude and being kind and we choose to walk the path of positivity daily. We are just happy people trying to do our best for ourselves, our family, friends, community and for people that we may never meet.
Fast forward in 2019, I had a milestone birthday. It led me to feeling extra grateful and to thinking about how cool it would be to create a vibe of gratitude in our community. To gather like-minded folks that feel grateful and exude gratitude. To gather with folks of all ages that believe in the power of positivity. And so “Grateful Vibes Only” blossomed. We believe in the power expressing gratitude, to show acts of kindness and to keep positivity at the forefront of our lives. Simply because it is the best part about being human.
We hope you thrive with love and gratitude and that you spread kindness and positivity.
Gratitude + People = IMPACT.
Cheers,
Dajana
